Dear Friends

"I have had the honor of serving the citizens of Papillion as a Planning Commissioner, City Councilman, and most recently was called upon to serve as your Mayor.

In each of these roles the greatest opportunity has been as an advocate for the residents of Papillion, while utilizing my strong business and civic/volunteer experiences.  We have seen great success from an economic development perspective, but have never lost the focus on the sense of community and the small town feel that makes Papillion a Special Place."

I truly value everyone involved in making Papillion a special place, especially our great employees and those that give of their time serving on the Planning Commission, Civil Service Commission, Tree Board, Board of Adjustment, Mayor's Youth Council, and Papillion Arts Council - everyone of you play a CRITICAL role in shaping our future.

Dave

QUALITY OF LIFE & ECONOMIC STABILITY
I have been very consistent in what I value and this will continue into my next full term as your Mayor.  This includes:
  • Focus on people (residents and employees)
  • Delivery of very high quality services
  • Reasonable and stable property tax levy
  • Fiscal responsibility and economic stability
  • Support for cooperative partnerships
  • Focus on economic development while
  • Protecting the downtown core; and
  • Valuing the rich history of Papillion
